COMBRAZING is a process patented by TECHNAX for advantageous resistance compacting and hard-brazing of copper cables and braids onto terminals, in a single-step process.
The combrazing technology is suitable for many conductive cables and braids of different sections and fulfil the strong requirements of high-voltage cables and terminals for connections in the e-automotive industry, energy and electro-technical branches.

TECHNAX SOLUTIONS
In the common assembling method, following operations are required :
Cable compacting – cable recut (zero cut) – Terminal pre-brazing – Hard brazing.
Through the TECHNAX combrazing process, cable and terminal are loaded at the same time into a jig. The cable is simultaneously compacted and brazed by resistance onto the terminal with an automatic feeding of brazing material between the cable and the terminal. Through the combrazing process, coated cables with tin or silver can be assembled, opposite to traditional methods like ultrasonic welding.
