MECHATRONICS

TECHNAX has been dealing with mechatronics subassemblies for many years and offers according to the applications various joining technologies, like resistance and laser welding, hard brazing, induction brazing and ultrasonic welding. Worldwide actors of the mechatronics industriy rely on the expertise of TECHNAX to join metal parts together.

FEATURES

Mechatronics combines mechanics, electronics and IT to design “intelligent” systems and improve the performance of all types of equipment. A lot of mechatronics products can be found in the automotive industry, to develop smart vehicles.

Components like capacitors, coils, resistances, busbars, etc. need to be joined together.

One of the often implemented joining process in the mechatronics is the hot-crimping technology. It consists of assembling a wire or capacitor’s leg inside a fork or hook, usually in copper by using a resistance welding equipment.

Other technologies like hard brazing (feeding of brazing material between the parts to be assembled) and laser welding can be used to join busbars together.
