Electrical contact
Electrical contacts are one of the main elements of electromechanical components, such as contactors, relays, switches and circuit breakers. They are the key to all connection systems and are composed of conductive materials such as copper or silver, which facilitate the flow of current.
FEATURES
An electrical contact is a system that enables an electric current to flow through two mechanically separable circuit elements. Circuits breakers for example are composed of magnetic and thermal parts which contain small items like copper braids, silver tips, bimetals, coils, etc. All these items need to be electrically joined through welded connections.
In contactors, parts called “fixed contacts” and “mobile contacts” are mostly made of copper carriers and silver tips which also need to be welded together.
TECHNAX INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS
The assembling of electrical contacts like circuit breakers and contactors is one of the TECHNAX core business. We’ve been working with the major manufacturers worldwide and offer them turn-key solutions. TECHNAX has acquired for about 35 years a big expertise and offers technologies like resistance welding and brazing, induction brazing and laser welding.
Our Engineering team analyses customer’s requests and suggests the best industrial solution to meet quality and productivity.
In addition to its expertise in the design and production of turnkey industrial equipment, TECHNAX carries out process feasibility/validation test, prototypes and pre-production runs to best meet customer’s requirements.
