Motors are composed of different items like stators, rotors, winding, busbars, etc. which are assembled together through welded connections. Copper is one of the main material entering into the composition of a motor; therefore specific welding processes need to be implemented when joining motor components.

- Resistance welding and brazing for busbars and winding
- Resistance hot-staking for enameled copper wires
- Laser welding for the assembling of copper wires together; so called “hairpin stator”.
